If a peering point goes offline for any reason your traffic is automatically routed to a different peering point. Our network is not dependent on any single data center, or fiber connection, or electrical block.
Webpass purchases upstream connections from the highest rated networks in the world. The routes we provide are one AS away from the majority on networks in the world.
All networking equipment is susceptible to failure. Webpass has designed our point to point wireless mesh network with complete redundancy for all equipment and paths to the Internet. The only single point of failure for our business customers is the router or switch our customers physically connect to.
Webpass can activate a new customer in 5 days or less if your property is on the Webpass network. Otherwise, we can activate a new customer in 30 days or less without the additional time and expense of digging through the streets to pull fiber into a property.
Webpass provides a physically diverse last mile connection from your property. If you purchase redundant land based connections, they may both utilize the same copper of fiber to exit the property. Webpass is not susceptible to the physical damage to cables around your property.
Our service handoff is Ethernet. All of your existing networking equipment will work with Webpass so you do not need to purchase expensive specialized networking equipment.
